Typepad is another paid blogging option that is available on the marketplace. Their company mantra is that “if you can type, you can blog with Typepad”.

You can publish quickly and easily from your computer, mobile devices, or even email! And you have control over whether or not you not to make money on your site, either through ads or the Typepad affiliate program.

There is easy integration with Google analytics so you will be able to stay on top of your stats.

You can pick from thousands of available themes and tweak the fully customizable CSS, or you can build a theme using the easy theme builder from the ground up.

Prices start at $8.95/month for their Plus plan, which includes beautiful designs, personal support, the ability to map your domain, and unlimited storage.

Their most popular Unlimited plan runs at $14.95/month and includes everything that comes with the Plus plan, plus the ability to create unlimited blogs and fully customizable designs.

Finally, there are the Premium and Enterprise plans, which are $29.95 and $49.95/month respectively. The Premium plan gives you priority support and the Enterprise plan gives you the option of a co-owner.

Typepad guarantees rock solid reliability and has built it’s reputation working with many established brands and bloggers.

It is certainly on the more affordable end of paid for blogging platforms and has the added advantage of having been on the scene for a very long time. Some of their more notable clients include A Beautiful Mess, Freckled Nest, The Marriott, and the LA Times.
