What is intersectional feminism?

Intersectional feminism is feminism that is all inclusive. It is the only true kind of feminism, but exists separately to combat “white feminism” and other groups who try to exclude or ignore groups of women. Intersectional feminism also includes individuals of non-binary genders.

What does the term womxn mean?

The Urban Dictionary describes womxn as a spelling of “women” that is a more inclusive and progressive term that not only sheds light on the prejudice, discrimination, and institutional barriers womxn have faced, but to also show that womxn are not the extension of men. More intersectional than womyn because it includes trans-women and women of color.

What does LGTBQ+ and LGTBQIA stand for?
LGBTQ+ = Lesbian, Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning and + meaning other sexualities such as pansexual, asexual and omnisexual.
LGTBQIA = Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Queer, Intersex, Asexual
LGBTQIA is a more inclusive term than LGBT for people with non-mainstream sexual orientation or gender identity.
Both of these terms are used widely across She Zine content.
What is gender fluid/non-binary?

Gender fluid is a gender identity best described as a dynamic mix of boy and girl. Being Gender Fluid has nothing to do with which set of genitalia one has, nor their sexual orientation.

Non-Binary refers to any gender that is not exclusively male or female. A similar term is gender queer.

When is my order shipped?

Many of our items are printed on demand and so there may be an additional 5 – 7 days wait prior to shipment to the end user. We operate this way so that we are able to carry a wide range of sizes to satisfy our customer base. Once we are able to order in larger volumes, we will be able to eliminate this additional wait time. We thank you for your patience when ordering.

How long will it take to get my order?

We print many of our items on demand so that we are able to offer a wide range of sizes without taking on too much inventory. For this reason, you can expect a wait time of about 2 – 3 weeks from your time of purchase until your shipment shows up at your door. We appreciate your patience.

We ship all of our packages reliably with Canada Post.

Where’s My Package?

We print most of our items on demand and so the lead time from when you make your purchase until your shipment arrives will usually average around 3 weeks, depending on your location. We thank you for your patience. If you have been waiting for longer than 3 weeks, then please get in touch and we will try to help you locate your package.
